Annie Hartnett

Annie Hartnett is a writer. Her debut novel, “Unlikely Animals,” received the Julia Ward Howe Prize for Fiction and was nominated for the Joyce Carol Oates Award. Her second novel, “Rabbit Cake,” was a finalist for the New England Book Award and was named one of the best books of the year by Kirkus Reviews. Hartnett’s third novel, “The Road to Tender Hearts,” won the New England Book Award in 2025.
