Annette Voigt

Annette Voigt worked as an educator and ended her professional career in 2018. She devoted herself to the study of the English landscape garden of the 18th and 19th centuries and gave lectures on the subject. She was particularly interested in the historic parks at Wörlitz, Branitz, and Bad Muskau, where she also supported gardening teams as a volunteer for periods of time. After suffering from diverticulitis, she founded a self-help group for people affected by diverticulitis and irritable bowel syndrome in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2019 and worked to raise awareness of these often-taboo conditions.
