Annette Keck

Annette Keck is a professor of gender studies, cultural theory, and modern German literature at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Her research areas include constructions of authorship and the body, literary anthropologies, grotesque artistic production, popular entertainment, and “working girls.” Her doctoral dissertation was published in 1998 as *Avantgarde der Lust. Autorschaft und sexuelle Relation in Döblins früher Prosa*. In 2007, she published her habilitation thesis, *Buchstäbliche Anatomien. Vom Lesen und Schreiben des Menschen – Literaturgeschichten der Moderne*.
