Annette Dittert worked as a foreign correspondent and documentary filmmaker for ARD. From the late 1990s onward, she reported from locations including Moscow, Warsaw, New York and London, and hosted ARD’s Morgenmagazin morning programme for several years. Her documentary series »Abenteuer Glück« earned her two Grimme Awards. She also received the Hanns-Joachim-Friedrichs Prize and was named Politics Journalist of the Year in 2019 for her coverage of Brexit.
