Annelie Wendeberg

Annelie Wendeberg worked as an environmental microbiologist at the UFZ in Leipzig and as an adjunct professor at Uppsala University. Alongside her scientific career, she began writing about research, biology, ecology, and especially microbiology. She initially self-published her crime novels, some of them in English, before her books were later published by Kiepenheuer & Witsch. She is known in particular for the series featuring Anna Kronberg and Sherlock Holmes.
