Annelie Buntenbach, born in 1955, was a member of the German Bundestag from 1994 to 2002 for Alliance 90/The Greens. From 2006 onward, she served on the executive federal board of the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB), where her responsibilities included labour-market and social policy.
