Anne Siegel

Anne Siegel was born and raised in northern Germany. She has worked as a book author, radio journalist, audio drama and screenwriter, and documentary filmmaker for German and U.S. productions. Her debut novel, »Nordbräute«, was published in 2015 and nominated for the Hamburg Literature Prize in the category of best debut novel. Her nonfiction books include »Frauen, Fische, Fjorde« (2016), »Señora Gerta« (2018), and the SPIEGEL bestseller »Wo die wilden Frauen wohnen« (2020). For a WDR radio feature, Siegel interviewed Gerta Stern in Panama City.
