Anna Romer

Anna Romer grew up in New South Wales in a family of book lovers and storytellers. She worked as a graphic designer and undertook extended journeys through the Australian Outback, Asia, New Zealand, Europe and America. She drew on impressions from these travels in her artwork and writing. Her debut novel, *The Holford House* [German title: *Das Rosenholzzimmer*], reflects her fascination with forgotten diaries and letters, dark family secrets and old houses, as well as her love of the Australian landscape.
