Anna Katharine Green

Anna Katharine Green, née Anna Katharine Rohlfs, was an American writer of Victorian detective fiction. She is regarded as a pioneer of the detective story and as the most significant representative of the genre between Edgar Allan Poe and Arthur Conan Doyle.
