Anna Haifisch

Anna Haifisch was born in Leipzig in 1986 and studied illustration at the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig. In 2013, she co-founded the Leipzig comics and graphic arts festival The Millionaires Club with friends; in 2014, she started the minicomic project Tiny Masters with James Turek. Her first comic, Von Spatz, was published by Rotopol in 2015. From autumn 2015, she drew the series The Artist for the website of the US magazine VICE. In 2020, she received the Max and Moritz Award for Best German Comic Artist at the Erlangen International Comic Salon.
