Anna Cavelius, born in 1964 in Detmold, studied philosophy and history in Munich, Siena and Salamanca. After working for an American magazine publisher, she became a freelance journalist, author, ghostwriter and editor in 1995, focusing on medical, psychological, culinary and lifestyle topics. She co-authored, among other works, Dr. Detlef Pape’s »Schlank im Schlaf« series as well as »Die Hormonformel« and »Schlank für Frauen«. As a ghostwriter, she also collaborated with figures from the entertainment and culinary worlds.
