Anna Becchi was born in Genoa in 1965. She studied philosophy, Italian studies and German studies in Genoa and Saarbrücken. From the 1990s onward, she worked as a translator, translating from German, Dutch and English into Italian and from Italian into German. Her translations received several awards.
