Anja Schumann

Anja Schümann studied language teaching research, focusing on German as a foreign and second language (DaF/DaZ), as well as Romance studies. For more than 20 years, she led professional development seminars for the Goethe-Institut in Germany and abroad. She worked as a freelance author, editor, course instructor and trainer, and co-authored numerous teaching and learning materials for DaF/DaZ, vocational German courses and the language-learning app “Ein Tag Deutsch in der Pflege.” Her professional areas of focus include methodology and language-teaching theory, cultural studies, vocational language instruction and drama education.
