Anja Rieger

Anja Rieger was born in Saarbrücken in 1961. She trained as a goldsmith and subsequently studied design at the Berlin University of the Arts, graduating with a degree in design. After working for advertising agencies for many years, she began illustrating children’s picture books in 1998. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and flying single-engine propeller aircraft.
