Anja Jonuleit

Anja Jonuleit was born in Bonn in 1965 and grew up near Lake Constance. She initially worked for the German embassies in Rome and Damascus, then studied Italian and English in Munich and worked as a translator and court interpreter before turning to writing. She has published novels since 2007, including »Herbstvergessene«, »Der Apfelsammler«, »Rabenfrauen«, »Das Nachtfräuleinspiel«, »Das letzte Bild«, »Kaiserwald« and »Sonnenwende«. Several of her books have appeared on the SPIEGEL bestseller list.
