Angelo Colagrossi, born in Rome in 1960, worked as a freelance writer and director in Germany from 1989 onward. In 1992, he was the writer and co-director of his first feature film, “Kein Pardon.” His other work included the television series “Total normal,” which he developed with Hape Kerkeling and Achim Hagemann, and the feature films “Alles wegen Paul” (2001) and “Samba in Mettmann” (2004). He directed and co-wrote “Horst Schlämmer – Isch kandidiere!” (2009). He also wrote the radio play “Ein Mann, ein Fjord!” (2007) and several novels. In 2012, he received the German Comedy Award as co-producer of “Türkisch für Anfänger.”
