Angela Wegmann

Angela Wegmann studied history, ethnology and book studies, followed by training in animal psychology with the ethnologist and animal psychologist Dr. Turner in Switzerland. From the early 1970s onward, she trained dogs and worked in search-and-rescue operations from 1980. Over several decades, she handled dogs of various breeds as area-search, rubble-search, avalanche and water-rescue dogs in trials and national and international deployments. She also ran a behavioral therapy practice for dogs for many years and worked for 15 years as a film-animal and dog trainer. She worked as an author and journalist and appeared as a speaker at national and international symposia.
