Angel Igov, born in 1981, is a Bulgarian writer, translator and journalist. His work includes three novels, as well as short stories and essays. He has received several literary awards, including Bulgaria’s renowned Elias Canetti Prize. His short stories have been translated into French, Polish and German. As a translator, he has translated works by authors including Paul Auster, Martin Amis, Ian McEwan, Angela Carter, John Banville and Colson Whitehead.
