Andrew Ridgeley (born 1963) is an English singer, guitarist and record producer. He became known as a member of the pop duo WHAM!, which he founded in 1981 with his school friend George Michael. The group’s best-known songs include “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” and “Last Christmas.” After WHAM! disbanded in 1986, Ridgeley tried pursuing careers in Formula 3 racing and film before returning to music as a solo artist.
