Andreas Zick (born 1962) is a German social and conflict researcher. He earned a doctorate in the natural sciences and completed a habilitation in philosophy. His academic career has been closely associated with Bielefeld University, where he served as Professor of Socialization and Conflict Research and headed the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research on Conflict and Violence. In 2016, he received the Communicator Prize from the German Research Foundation and the Stifterverband for his public communication of research findings.
