Andreas Thimmel

Prof. Dr. Andreas Thimmel is a professor of social work studies at TH Köln – University of Applied Sciences. At the university, he heads the Institute for Childhood, Youth, Family and Adults and the research focus area “Non-formal Education.” His areas of expertise include youth work, international and intercultural youth work, European youth policy, and civic education.
