Andreas Schmidt was born in Wuppertal in 1969. He began writing at an early age, contributing to school newspapers and regional media, and later worked as a journalist for various newspapers and magazines. In the late 1990s, he began publishing series novels alongside his other work. His first crime novel, “In Satans Namen,” was published in 1999. It was followed by numerous regional crime novels as well as historical novels published under the pseudonym Susanne von Berg. One of his best-known works is “Das Schwebebahn-Komplott.”
