Andreas Michalsen

Andreas Michalsen, born in 1961 in Bad Waldsee, studied human medicine in Bochum and Berlin. After completing his specialist training in internal and intensive-care medicine in Berlin, he worked as a senior physician in the Department of Naturopathy at Kliniken Essen-Mitte. He completed his habilitation in naturopathic medicine in 2006. He subsequently served as chief physician for naturopathy and internal medicine at Immanuel Hospital Berlin and as professor of clinical naturopathy at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. His scientific fields of focus include mind-body medicine, fasting and nutritional medicine, and traditional medicine.
