Andreas Ludden

Andreas Ludden (born 1954) studied Slavic, Baltic and Finno-Ugric studies in Münster and Helsinki. He subsequently lived in Finland for an extended period and worked as a linguist. He taught Finnish at the Baltic Institute of the University of Münster and taught several languages at various university institutes. In the 1990s, he published his first translations from Finnish. His particular interest was the work of Finnish writer Mika Waltari (1908–1979). He also co-authored a textbook of Georgian and a basic Georgian vocabulary book.
