Andreas Ellefred

Andreas Ellefred was born in Münsterland in 1971. He studied mechanical engineering and has been interested since his youth in East Asian martial arts, including judo, hapkido, and Silla Gum Do, as well as their philosophical roots. During his training and university studies, he traveled several times to Thailand and China, including Hong Kong, Macau, and Beijing, and later to the United States. These journeys shaped his interest in the cultural differences between the Western and East Asian worlds.
