Andrea Salmen

Andrea Salmen was born in Bucharest in 1977 and emigrated to Germany with her family at the age of six. She studied art history, art education, Italian Romance philology and archaeology in Würzburg and Verona. During and after her studies, she worked in museums, contributing to guided tours, exhibition planning and museum education. She also worked as a tour guide in Italy and led city and castle tours. Her professional experience included work in Würzburg’s tourism sector, with a focus on accessibility in tourism.
