Andrea Paluch (born in 1970 in Hannover, Germany) studied English and German at universities in Hannover, Freiburg, Roskilde and Hamburg, where she earned a doctorate in 2000 with a dissertation on contemporary British poetry. She published books for adults, young adults and children, often in collaboration with Robert Habeck. She also worked as a translator and lecturer. Their debut novel, “Hauke Haiens Tod,” was published in 2001; her later novels include “Gipfelgespräch” (2021).
