Amie Kaufman

Amie Kaufman is an author of science fiction and fantasy for young adults. She grew up in Australia and Ireland. Her best-known works include These Broken Stars, co-written with Meagan Spooner, and the Illuminae Files series, co-written with Jay Kristoff. Her books have appeared on the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists, been published in more than 30 languages, and received several awards. Illuminae was nominated for the 2018 German Youth Literature Prize. In preparation for the Beast Changers series, Kaufman took lessons in howling from a wolf expert.
