Amanda Bridgeman

Amanda Bridgeman is an Australian author and actress. She wrote eight volumes of the award-winning Aurora series, a collection of near-future space thrillers, as well as the science-fiction police novel The Subjugate and the crime novel The Time of the Stripes. The Subjugate was optioned for television by a production company nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe. Bridgeman has received the Tin Duck Award and an Aurealis Award and was a finalist for a Ditmar Award. She has also worked as a television and film actress.
