Allen Eskens

Raised in Jefferson City, Missouri, Allen Eskens studied journalism at the University of Minnesota before studying law. He subsequently opened a law practice in Mankato, Minnesota, and worked as a criminal defense attorney. As an author, he became known for thrillers including *The Life We Bury*, published in German as *Das Leben, das wir begraben*.
