Ali Berg

Ali Berg is an Australian author born in Melbourne. Together with her best friend Michelle Kalus, she began placing used books on trains and in subway systems in April 2016 to encourage people to read. The initiative later involved more than 500 people and numerous publishers. Berg and Kalus drew on their experiences in their first joint novel, *Buchstäblich Liebe*, published by Blanvalet in 2019.
