Alfred Wolf

Alfred Wolf (born 1923) was an Austrian author and cultural figure. From 1959 to 1991, he served as the honorary director of Vienna’s Alsergrund District Museum, and in 1970 he founded the Galerie Alsergrund. He was also active as an artist, presenting his work, among other places, at Erste Bank in Klosterneuburg in 2000 and at KULTURaum in Vienna in 2002. In 1983, he was awarded the professional title of Professor. Alfred Wolf was the father of Austrian ethnologist and author Helga Maria Wolf.
