Alfred Neuwald

Alfred Neuwald was born in Hamburg and studied communication design. After graduating, he ran an animation studio in São Paulo, Brazil, for one year. He subsequently worked for more than 30 years as a comic artist and illustrator and wrote and illustrated numerous children’s books in addition to his comics. In 2012, he created the comic character Karl der Kleine, whose adventures first appeared as short strips in Aachen newspapers and were later published as longer comic stories.
