Alfons Schuhbeck

Alfons Schuhbeck is a German chef, restaurateur, television personality and cookbook author from Traunstein, Bavaria. He became known through his work in gastronomy and television, as well as through numerous cookbooks. His notable works include “Schuhbecks Welt der Kräuter und der Gewürze,” “Meine Reise in die Welt der Gewürze” and “Meine Gewürzküche aus Indien, Thailand, Vietnam und China.” Herbs and spices were a particular focus of his cooking, which combined them with traditional Bavarian cuisine. In addition to his work as a chef and author, Schuhbeck was also active as an entrepreneur in gastronomy and the food business.
