Alexandra Rigos

Alexandra Rigos (born in Herne in 1968) studied mechanical engineering in Aachen and, after receiving her degree in 1993, attended the Henri-Nannen School of Journalism in Hamburg. She then worked for two years as an editor in the science section of Der Spiegel before joining the editorial team of Greenpeace Magazin. As a freelance author, she wrote for publications including Geo, Stern and P.M. on research, biology, nature conservation and ecology. Rigos has three children.
