Alexander Reck (born 1974) is a literary scholar, historian, and editor. He studied German and history at the University of Stuttgart and completed his doctorate under Heinz Schlaffer on Friedrich Theodor Vischer. Reck worked as a teacher of German and history at the Dillmann-Gymnasium in Stuttgart and in the Baden-Württemberg school system. His publications include studies of Eduard Mörike, Goethe, Friedrich Theodor Vischer, Paul Ernst, Erich Kästner, Franz Kafka, and the literary and intellectual history of southwestern Germany. He also edited annotated school editions and poetry anthologies.
