Alexander Proelss

Born in 1973, Alexander Proelss studied law at the universities of Bonn and Tübingen. He subsequently worked as a research associate and assistant at the Faculty of Law at the University of Tübingen and as a research associate at the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany. From 2007 to 2010, he was Professor of Public Law with a focus on the law of the sea at Kiel University. In 2010, he took up a professorship in public law, specializing in international and European law, at Trier University and became director of its Institute of Environmental and Technology Law.
