Alejandro Jodorowsky

Alejandro Jodorowsky (born 1929) is a Chilean artist, director and author of Russian-Jewish descent. He has worked as a performance artist and theatre director, including in connection with Marcel Marceau and the Mouvement Panique artistic group. As a filmmaker, he is particularly known for “El Topo” and “Montaña Sacra.” He has also written prose and screenplays for futuristic comics.
