Albert C. Eibl (born 1990 in Munich) is a publisher and Germanist. He founded the Vienna-based publishing house Das vergessene Buch, which helped bring the work of Austrian-Jewish writers Marta Karlweis, Else Jerusalem, and Maria Lazar back to public attention. As an editor, he also published Carl Laszlo’s concentration-camp memoirs “Ferien am Waldsee” and Maria Lazar’s long-lost novel “Viermal ICH” from her estate. Eibl grew up in Italy and has studied the poetics of “concealed writing” as a literary scholar.
