Alan Rickman

Alan Rickman (1946–2016) was an English actor and theatre director. He earned considerable acclaim for his performances in modern and classical stage plays and was, for a time, a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. He appeared in numerous international film productions, including the Harry Potter series, and received a wide range of awards for his work.
