Alan Mikhail

Alan Mikhail is a historian and professor of history at Yale University. He gained international recognition for award-winning books on environmental history, particularly the history of the Ottoman Empire and Egypt. In 2018, he received the Anneliese Maier Research Award from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
