Alain Damasio

Alain Damasio was born in Lyon in 1969. He has worked as a novelist, musician, sound artist, and video game developer. His novels explore polyphonic forms of storytelling and experimental approaches to language. His novel *The Fugitives* (*Les Furtifs*) received Lire magazine’s “Meilleur Livre” award in 2019; in 2020, Damasio received the Grand Prix de l’Imaginaire for the novel.
