Aimee Nezhukumatathil

Born in 1974, Aimee Nezhukumatathil is an award-winning American author and poet. Her academic career includes a professorship in English and creative writing at the University of Mississippi. Her fellowships and grants include support from the Guggenheim Foundation, the U.S. National Endowment for the Arts, and the Mississippi Arts Council. Her writing has appeared in publications including The New York Times Magazine and the poetry magazines Poetry and Tin House. Her nonfiction debut, World of Wonders, received numerous prizes and distinctions.
