Agrippa von Nettesheim

Agrippa von Nettesheim (1486–1535) was a physician, lawyer, philosopher, and theologian. In his writings on magic, he examined traditions of ancient magic that had passed through the Roman Empire into Christian Europe. These works are regarded as important documents of European intellectual history.
