His breakthrough came with the book “This Is Going to Hurt”, which, according to the publisher information, sold more than 2.5 million copies and was translated into 37 languages. Kay received several awards and also wrote the children’s books “Kay’s Anatomy” and “Kay’s Marvellous Medicine”.
