Adam Horovitz

Adam Horovitz, known by his stage name AD-ROCK, is an American musician and a member of the Beastie Boys. The trio formed in New York’s hardcore punk underground in 1981 and became one of the first major hip-hop acts. Between 1986 and 2004, the group released seven platinum-certified albums, including “Licensed to Ill,” “Paul’s Boutique,” “Check Your Head,” “Ill Communication,” “Hello Nasty,” and “To the 5 Boroughs.” The Beastie Boys were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
