Adam Alter

Adam Alter is a social psychologist and author born in South Africa. He studied psychology in Sydney and later at Princeton, where he earned his doctorate. His academic career includes a professorship in marketing at New York University’s Stern School of Business, as well as an affiliation with the university’s psychology faculty. He is the author of Drunk Tank Pink (2013) and Irresistible (2018), both New York Times bestsellers.
