Abigail Larson

Abigail Larson is an illustrator who works primarily with pencil, ink, watercolour, and Photoshop. Her mixed-media work often combines horror with fairytale elements. Her artistic inspirations include fairytales, folklore, ghost stories, and classic Gothic literature, including works by Edgar Allan Poe, H. P. Lovecraft, the Brothers Grimm, Shirley Jackson, and Angela Carter. With Sasha Graham, she created the tarot deck The Dark Wood Tarot (2020); that same year, she collaborated with Minerva Siegel on The Nightmare Before Christmas Tarot Deck & Guidebook. Before working as an illustrator, Larson worked in animation.
