Abdourahman Waberi (born 1965) is a writer from Djibouti. His novel *The Gate of Tears* was published in German in 2010. His literary work has received, among other distinctions, the Grand Prix Littéraire d’Afrique noire and the Grand prix de la Nouvelle francophone.
