Aaron Sahr is an economic sociologist, philosopher, and sociologist. His professional positions have included research work at the Hamburg Institute for Social Research, leadership of the research group “Monetary Sovereignty,” and a visiting professorship at Leuphana University Lüneburg. His research focuses on the history of money, capitalist dynamics, and political economy. In 2019, he received the Franz-Xaver Kaufmann Prize.
